FrogSearch is designed with your privacy in mind. Your rules and preferences are stored on your device and synced through Apple's iCloud service. We do not operate servers, collect analytics, or share your information with third parties.

Data Storage

All data — including your custom rules, bang shortcut preferences, and settings — is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your Apple devices through Apple's iCloud infrastructure. We have no access to this data.

Safari Extension

FrogSearch operates as a Safari Web Extension. It processes URLs locally in your browser to apply bang shortcuts and URL rewrite rules. No browsing data, search queries, or URLs are sent to any external server.

Data Collection

FrogSearch does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking SDKs are used
• No browsing history is recorded or transmitted
• No advertising frameworks are included
• No account creation is required

Third-Party Services

FrogSearch does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks beyond Apple's own platform frameworks. Your data never leaves Apple's ecosystem.

Children's Privacy

FrogSearch is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
