Privacy Policy

Overview

Fasting is designed with your privacy in mind. Your data is stored on your device and synced through Apple's iCloud service. We do not operate servers, collect analytics, or share your information with third parties.

Data Storage

All data — including your fasting sessions, preferences, and history — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your Apple devices through Apple's iCloud infrastructure. We have no access to this data.

Apple HealthKit

If you choose to enable HealthKit integration, Fasting can write completed fasting sessions to Apple Health as "Intermittent Fasting" entries. This is entirely optional and requires your explicit permission. HealthKit data is governed by Apple's privacy policies and is never shared with us or any third party.

Data Collection

Fasting does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking SDKs are used
• No personal information is sent to us or third parties
• No advertising frameworks are included
• No account creation is required

Notifications

Fasting may send local notifications to remind you about your fasting schedule. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external server communication.

Third-Party Services

Fasting does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks beyond Apple's own platform frameworks. Your data never leaves Apple's ecosystem.

Children's Privacy

Fasting is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
